5-10-11, Reading log, book project, Note cards 20 in your own words 5 direct quotes. Look at the packet for examples or the website. 

5-6-11book project, reading log, research (at least 3 sources 1 encyclopedia, 1 newspaper/magazine article, 1 website) , bibliography cards (see packet on mater site for instructions)

Vocab activities and vocab quiz Thursday on first 10 vocab words froom maniac Magee. 

4-26 Reading log, Vocab activities due next class, vocab quiz next class,  Read chapter 7-10 Maniac Magee, Start finding research on topic, bring a blue folder, bring index cards (approx. 75) have your parent sign your index card with topic.

4-21- Reading log, bring Maniac Magee, book projects, select 3 research paper topics from the list at my Mater page. Research them and select one youlike and can find plenty of information for. On an index card write the 3 topics you slected and then on the back write the one you chose. Have your parent sign it next to the topic you chose. 

4-15-11 Reading log, Maniac Magee for next class book check. Research what a legend is. Wirite it down. Find a legen and print it out read it and bring it to class. 

4-7 Reading log due next class. Get Maniac Magee A.S.A.P. 

Book projects Due February 25 and March 25

Spring Break Home Work- Readinglog tow due when we return. Finish taking sides test when we return. Work on 2nd book projects of quarter due March 25.

Winter break homework- Read loser until chapter 22. Poetry book instructions are on my Mater site the document is called Poetry book.

9-24-10 Finish journal, reading log, read chapters 9,10 holes.

9-16-10  Finish journal, reading log, define vocab.

9-2-10 Get the book Holes, Laminate task cards (Due thursday), research your first name online see where it comes from. Ask your parents why they chose your first name. Write a couple sentneces answering both questions., supplies if not brought in yet, vocab activity(Due thursday). 

8-31-10  Finish journal # 1, Reading log for the week due this tuesday (you can print a copy from my page on the matersite, Get the book Holes by luis Sachar to read in class. Get All supplies!
